About Carlson's Sporting Clay Improved Modified Non Ported Choke Tube for 12 ga Winchester .705
Black-finished and built from 17-4 stainless, this Sporting Clays choke tube is cut with a 25% longer parallel section than conventional tubes. That extra length is the real story here: it is meant to hold a more consistent pattern, and the knurled end makes the tube easier to spin in or out when you are changing constrictions at the gun.
This one is an Improved Modified for 12 gauge Winchester .705 fitment. The constriction is lasered on the end for quick reference, and the tube is made for Browning Invector, Mossberg Model 500, Winchester, Weatherby, and Savage 12 gauge choke systems.
It can be used with lead shot, steel shot, copperplated shot, nickel shot, Hevi-Shot shells, and buck shot. Steel shot larger than BB should not be used in any Sporting Clays choke tube tighter than Full Constriction.
