Mid and long range constrictions are the draw here, with Carlson’s Triple Shot Technology (TST) easing the transition from bore to final constriction. The idea is simple: less pellet deformation, fewer flyers, and denser patterns on waterfowl loads.
This 2-pack is made for 12 gauge Benelli Crio and Crio Plus guns, and it comes in a ported configuration. The extended choke body adds a 25% longer parallel section, uses wrench-less installation, and gives the muzzle a little more protection during handling.
These tubes are precision-machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel and made in the U.S.A. Carlson’s notes no size or speed restrictions with steel shot in any of the three constrictions. There is also a specific note that Optima HP and Remington Pro Bore Long Range cannot be used with any steel shot larger than #2.
