This 20 gauge extended choke is cut for Browning Invector Plus and set up around a .610 constriction. The extended body gives you a longer parallel section, which is the part that helps keep steel shot patterns tighter and cuts down on stray flyers.
It extends 3/4 inch past the barrel, so the tube itself takes the wear from prolonged steel shot use instead of the barrel. Carlson's calls out the mid-range setup for shots inside 25 to 40 yards, and the longer parallel section also allows larger steel shot in tighter constrictions.
