Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor for MKII MKIII MK IV and 10/22

The Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor is designed specifically for use with MKII, MKIII, MK IV, 22/45 pistols, and 10/22 and 10/22 Magnum rifles. Manufactured using an Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) process, it achieves precise tolerances of +/- 0.0001 inches, ensuring consistent and reliable performance in field conditions.

This extractor features a hardened A2 tool steel construction with a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58-60, allowing it to maintain its sharp edge and resist wear over extended use. The hook point is engineered to be 0.005 inches closer to the cartridge rim than standard extractors, providing more positive extraction and reducing the chance of extraction failures.

Additionally, Volquartsen machines a chamfered or beveled edge on the bottom of the extractor to improve feeding reliability by preventing the extractor from catching on the next round during magazine feeding. This design detail enhances overall firearm function in practical use.
