Comfort matters on a thermal sight that rides a rifle all day, and the ACE keeps the layout familiar. It fits bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles with standard 30 mm mounts and rings, so it mounts like a traditional day optic instead of forcing a new setup.

Inside the eyepiece, a 1-3x ocular magnifier works with the 2560×2560 round AMOLED display, while the Vision+ system pairs that display with a 15 mK NETD sensor. The 50 mm germanium objective lens also houses the laser rangefinder, which keeps the body streamlined and helps with horizontal alignment of the infrared laser and viewing system.

The battery setup is practical in the field: an internal USB-C charging battery works with a removable 18650-style rechargeable battery, so hot-swapping is part of the design. A ballistic calculator can use rangefinder data and a user-customized cartridge profile to show bullet drop values, and the controls are kept simple for easier handling.
