The D-50 keeps the 50-round 7.62x51/.308 format in a polymer drum that still sits close to the profile of a standard 25-round PMAG. That matters at the bench, on the line, and especially when you’re trying to run prone without a giant drum hanging below the rifle.
Magpul’s GEN M3 construction brings impact- and crush-resistant polymer, stainless-steel internals, and the ability to seat fully loaded on a closed bolt. A ratcheting loading lever takes tension off the spring for hand loading, while the translucent rear window gives a quick read on remaining rounds.
