The Alpine MDT uses a 2-lug, fully cylindrical bolt action, and Weatherby positions the 307 platform to work with the broad aftermarket around stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines.
The chassis is carbon fiber and the buttstock folds, trimming more than 9 inches from overall length when collapsed. That makes it easier to pack, stow, and move through tight spots in the field while keeping the rifle in a chassis format. This model is finished in black and ships with a 3-round magazine.
