About X-Ring Threaded Barrel Quicksand (FDE) for the Ruger 10/22
Modular fit is the main draw here: this X-Ring barrel fits all Ruger 10/22 receivers and most aftermarket 10/22-style receivers, so it drops into a lot of common rimfire builds without forcing you into one narrow setup.
The barrel uses 6061-T6 aluminum with a rifled chromoly steel liner, and the polished 11-degree crown is there to keep the muzzle end clean and consistent. It is chambered in .22 LR, measures 16.5 inches, and uses a 1:16 twist.
Optional 1/2"x28 threads give you a straightforward way to add a TacSol suppressor or compensator. The Quicksand FDE finish and 15-ounce weight round out a barrel that keeps the 10/22 format familiar while changing the feel of the rifle.
