This die set omits the expander die, as most progressive machines perform case mouth expansion at the powder drop station, streamlining the reloading sequence. A specialized seating die with a large entry radius is included to facilitate smooth bullet seating, although it does not provide bullet crimping.

Additionally, the set includes a dedicated bullet crimping die to secure the bullet firmly in place. While tailored for progressive presses, this die set can also be adapted for use with single-stage presses if an expander die is acquired separately.
