Otis Rose by Sig Sauer Ripcord Cleaning Kit 5.56mm 36"

Five-point-six Ripcord cleaning starts at the breech and runs through the bore with a 36-inch cable, so the work goes fast without needing gravity feed. The 10 inches of aggressive cleaning surface and caliber-specific molded rubberized core are built for 5.56mm Rose M400 rifles and pistols, plus rifles chambered in .223 REM, .223 Wylde, and 5.56 NATO.

The braided Nomex surface is rated to handle heat up to 700°F, which matters when the barrel is still warm and you want to keep moving. Nomex fibers are doing two jobs here: loosening fouling and capturing it as the cord passes through the bore. A bore brush can be attached for a deeper clean.

This kit also includes Sig Sauer Spec1 firearm lubricant, a Rose microfiber gun cloth, and a mauve Bore Reflector with a chamber flag and 8-32 threaded end that doubles as a pull handle. The cable uses 8-32 threaded ends to fit all Otis cleaning components. Made in the USA.
