This one-piece Picatinny base is cut for the Remington 700 short action and gives you 20 MOA of built-in elevation. That extra cant matters when you want more usable scope travel without stacking on extra parts.
The rail is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and weighs 1.75 oz, so it stays light while still giving you a solid cross-slot mounting surface. Ring placement is flexible across the rail, which helps with eye relief and makes setup less fussy.
