About Competition Electronics Prochrono DLX Ballistic Chronograph
The ProChrono DLX keeps the same basic job it has done since 1985: measure velocity from a wide mix of projectiles without making the setup fussy. It covers firearms, shotguns, archery, airguns, and paintball, and it ships with outdoor use in mind.
Competition Electronics updated the circuitry and enclosure, added on-board Bluetooth, and built in a full operating system with shot-string memory and statistics. The sensing system is set up for a wide range of light conditions, and the faster internal shot clock is rated for accuracy to +/- .5 percent or better.
It runs on one 9 volt alkaline battery, which is not included, and Competition Electronics says it can deliver 20+ hours of operation. Indoor diffusers are not included; for indoor use, the company recommends the optional Indoor Lighting System, part # CEI-4100.
