About Pulsar Thermal Imaging Monocular Telos LRF XP50
Long-range spotting is the point here. This thermal monocular pairs a built-in laser rangefinder with a stated detection range of more than 1900 yards, and the rangefinder itself reaches 1000 yards with practical accuracy to 1 yard. In the field, that means one unit can both find heat and give distance without juggling extra gear.
The Telos LRF XP50 uses a <18mK NETD sensor and enhanced image processing algorithms to pull out finer detail in rough weather and low-contrast conditions. Pulsar also uses adjustment rings that let zoom and focus happen in a more fluid, camera-like motion instead of feeling abrupt at higher magnification.
Housing and runtime matter on a handheld thermal, and this one is set up for hard use. The body is rubber-armored reinforced plastic, operating temperature is listed from -13 to 104 degrees F, and the LPS 7i quick-charge lithium-ion battery is rated for more than 8 hours. Charging is through USB-C, and the battery also supports wireless charging.
