About Pillar Bed Stock
The Pillar Bed Stock by Hogue Inc. is engineered for professional use with sporterized M98 large ring Mauser and Czech Mauser VZ 24 rifles. It provides a precise drop-in fit for nearly all M98 trigger mechanisms, whether factory or aftermarket, without requiring modifications.
This stock features a rubber-lined barrel channel designed to free float most #2-#3 taper barrels, with dimensions of 1.180" at the receiver and .820" at the fore-end tip. It accommodates bent down, bent down and swept back, as well as straight military bolt handles. The design includes a hidden cutout for sliding style side safeties and a floor-plate cutout compatible with shorter FN floor-plates without front tang lock screws.
