About Muddy MTX Insulated 17" Hunting Boot Clay 8D
Cold-weather boot first, and the comfort rating tells the story: this 17-inch Muddy MTX is rated from -60° to 30°F for late-season hunts and long sits in rough conditions. The tall profile gives you more coverage, while the roll-down calf pipes make it easier to tuck pant legs inside.
Inside the boot, 1600 grams of Muddy insulation sits in the toe boxes for added warmth where it matters most. The 5mm neoprene and hand-crafted vulcanized rubber build is made to stay flexible, resist aging, and help trap heat while controlling odor.
Support comes from the 4-inch steel shanks in the footbeds, and the rubber outsoles are built with 4x4 traction for uneven ground and wet weather.
