8.6 Blackout seating gets the micrometer treatment here, with a benchrest-style die that keeps the bullet and case aligned while the bullet is press-fit seated. The draw is simple: once a load is close, the micrometer stem lets you dial seating depth instead of chasing it by trial and error.
Forster’s Ultra Micrometer Seater Die uses the same straight-line seating approach as the original Bench Rest Seater Die, then adds a micrometer for finer control. The stem is adjustable in either direction to .0005″, and the graduations are marked in .001″ steps with bright white markings for easier reading.
