The SealTite band is the detail that sets these apart. It sits slightly larger than caliber diameter to help cut gas blow-by, reduce fliers, and keep copper fouling down compared with a lot of mono-metal bullets.
These bullets are made to fracture instead of mushroom. After 1-2 inches of penetration, 3-4 petals break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel, and they expand down to 1700 fps.
