This 9mm 1911 magazine keeps the old USGI fixed-base layout, but the details are tighter than the usual service pattern. It is built for a full-size 1911, holds 9 rounds, and uses numbered witness holes so round count is easy to check at a glance.
The tube is stainless steel with enhanced feed lips, and the follower is stainless steel as well. Chip McCormick calls out die-controlled tolerances held to +/- .001", along with a high tensile Rocket Wire spring and a heavy-duty spring setup meant to hold tension over time.
