The Enhanced Mil-Spec PCC Trigger is optimized for use in 9MM AR-9 firearms while delivering improved mil-spec performance you can feel with each & every trigger pull! Compatible with the MDP-9 UDP-9 & 0940/1045 receivers.
Aftermarket PCC triggers can be prone to numerous issues including failing to reset the hammer light primer strikes runaway (or burst fire) and inconsistent engagement with a 9MM bolt carrier. The EMT-9 Trigger solves these problems and is built tough to standup to the continued abuse of a blowback 9MM AR-15. The result is a reliable consistent trigger pull with none of the creep and grittiness you’d expect from a standard Mil-Spec fire control group.
The heart of the EMT-9 is a trigger and hammer that have been precision machined from a Mil-Spec AISI8620 investment casting. The engagement surfaces are then honed and polished to remove any “grit” prior to applying an ultra slick and durable Nickel Teflon finish that won’t corrode or discolor. Providing a crisp reliable trigger that won’t break down or degrade over time.
While some standard AR-15 triggers can have a pull weight as high as 9 pounds the EMT-9 is set to 5.5-6lbs. Meeting the minimum pull weight of the US Military while remaining light enough for quick and accurate shot placement. And the full power hammer spring ensures consistent ignition of even the hardest primers!
The trigger and hammer pins are centerless ground to a fine finish and hardened to prevent breakage. The disconnector is stamped from 1070 steel and fine blanked for clean edges throughout and a consistent trigger reset.
The EMT-9 fire control group is optimized for a 9MM PCC firearm however it is compatible with a standard 5.56 AR-15/M4.
