About Fail Zero Assembled Bolt Carrier Group .308 Black DPMS Pattern
The black exterior keeps the carrier non-reflective, but it is a topcoat over the EXO Nickel Boron finish underneath. On contact points like the rails, ramps, and carrier ends, that black surface will wear and expose the Nickel Boron below. Non-wear areas, including the portion covered by the dust cover during operation, are expected to stay black.
It is built as a drop-in unit for most mil-spec AR10 upper receivers and includes the core pieces already assembled, so there is no parts chasing before install.
