Fourteen inches of barrel changes the whole feel of this revolver. In .350 Legend, the Raging Hunter leans into range and field use with a long sighting plane, a 6-round cylinder, and the weight to help keep the gun settled shot to shot.
Taurus builds this one on a large frame with DA/SA operation, a stainless steel frame and barrel, and an alloy steel cylinder. The two-tone setup pairs matte stainless on the frame and barrel with a matte black oxide cylinder. Up top, it uses a fiber optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear, which makes more sense on a hunting revolver than fixed irons ever do.
The barrel uses Taurus' angular profile, and this model includes factory-tuned porting with a gas expansion chamber to cut muzzle lift. Grip inserts are cushioned, and the safety system is a transfer bar. Overall length is 20.5 inches, width is 1.80 inches, height is 6.6 inches, and unloaded weight is 83.40 ounces.
