At 14.25 ounces complete, this Gen 2 receiver assembly keeps a .22 LR build light without giving up the parts that matter. The receiver is hard-anodized 6061 aluminum, while the bolt and charging handle are stainless steel, and the assembly includes a polymer bolt buffer.
The X-RING VR Gen 2 leans into modularity. It uses a modular Picatinny rail system with a 10 MOA rail included, and it supports additional rail options from 0 MOA up through 40 MOA in standard and long lengths where noted. Tactical Solutions also built in ambidextrous charging handle positions, interchangeable charging handles, a left-side cover plate, and rear cleaning port access.
Other Gen 2 updates include an enlarged ejection port, a beveled bolt, a rear action screw for greater stability, and matte black finish. It is a semi-auto .22 LR receiver assembly with a setup aimed at easy configuration around optics and charging-handle preference.
