Remington Arms 870 Fieldmaster Shotgun 12 ga 3.5" 4/rd Magazine 28" Barrel Black

A 28-inch field barrel and 3.5-inch 12 gauge chamber put this 870 Fieldmaster squarely in the hunting lane, with the extra shell length there for heavier loads when the job calls for them. Capacity is 4 rounds, and the pump-action layout keeps the manual of arms simple and familiar.

Remington builds this one around a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel, with twin action bars to help keep the stroke from binding or twisting. The metalwork wears a non-reflective black matte finish, and the gun is set up with a black synthetic stock and fore-end. The stock includes an adjustable face comb insert with a flush insert included, and the comb inserts interchange with 870 Side Folder and Versa Max stocks.

There is also some practical field hardware in the box: a magazine plug, cable lock, choke tube wrench, and three flush Rem Chokes for changing how the gun patterns without changing the gun itself. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount if that is part of the setup.
