The 16-inch government-profile barrel and Magpul MOE 6-position stock make it a straightforward carbine setup for moving between storage, transport, and range use without extra bulk.
Adams Arms builds this P1 MOE around a mid-length short-stroke piston system with an adjustable Picatinny-railed gas block. The upper is an A4 flat-top forged receiver, and the rifle uses Magpul MOE handguards, MOE grip, and an enhanced trigger guard. Barrel specs are equally direct: 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel, QPQ Melonite/black nitride finish, 1:7 twist, 5.56x45mm NATO chamber, M4 feed ramps, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads capped with an A2 flash hider. Sights are not included.
The bolt carrier is a full-auto rated one-piece unit with an integral piston strike face, and the trigger is standard G.I. That gives this rifle a fairly plain control layout with the piston system as the main mechanical difference.
