That 20-inch octagon barrel and polished hardened brass receiver give this .45 Colt lever gun a lot of visual weight, but the handling is still classic Big Boy: 38.5 inches overall with a 14-inch length of pull and a side loading gate for topping off the magazine without pulling the tube. Henry also drilled and tapped the receiver, so it is ready for the BB-RSM scope mount if irons are not the plan.
This Deluxe Engraved version pairs American walnut furniture with receiver and barrel band engraving, and Henry notes it was limited to 1000 units. Sighting is a brass bead up front and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with diamond insert. The transfer bar safety keeps the manual of arms straightforward, and the 1:16 twist matches the .45 Colt chambering.
