About Fusion Freedom Series 1911 Bantam Handgun 9mm Luger 6/rd Magazine 3" Barrel
Built around the compact 3-inch Defender-style 1911 format, this 9mm Bantam keeps the classic Series 70 pattern in a shorter carry-sized package. Capacity is 6 rounds, and Fusion lists an all-steel configuration with no plastic parts, so the emphasis here is clearly on a traditional metal-framed 1911 rather than a lightweight variant.
Fusion states the frame, slide, and barrel are precision CNC machined from bar stock and then gunsmith fitted. The barrel is HD chrome with a 1:16 twist, and the pistol uses a positive barrel lock-up, a lowered and relieved ejection port, and a tuned Power style extractor. Sight changes stay straightforward thanks to standard dovetail cuts that are Novak compatible, and the traditional 70 series layout is noted as compatible with standard Colt-style replacement parts.
Red Cocobolo hardwood grips finish it off, and listed weight is 32.84 ounces without the magazine. One magazine is included.
