Five inches of barrel and a 7+1 .45 ACP setup keep this Colt squarely in classic Government Model territory. It uses a single-action, semi-auto operating system and stays close to the old Commercial Government Model pattern, right down to the Series 70 firing system, staked front sight, and spurred hammer.
The finish is the part that changes the feel of the gun immediately: mirrored high-polish royal blue instead of a more utilitarian treatment.
