Colt Government Competition Handgun .38 Super 9rd Magazine 5" Barrel Stainless Finish Fiber Sight

Stainless steel is the story here. Colt built this Government Competition 1911 with a stainless slide, frame, and barrel, then paired it with a dual spring recoil system meant to cut felt recoil and stretch recoil spring life. In a hard-use range gun, that combination matters.

This is a full-size .38 Super pistol with a 5-inch National Match barrel, 9-round capacity, and the updated Series 70 firing system. The brushed stainless finish, polished barrel, and Novak sight setup keep it squarely in the competition lane, while the upswept beavertail, undercut trigger guard, and checkered G10 grips are there to keep the gun planted low in the hand.

Colt rounds it out with a single-action hammer-fired trigger, extended thumb safety, and adjustable rear sight with a red fiber optic front. Included in the box are two magazines, a cable lock, instruction manual, and spare sight fibers.
