Built around the 7mm Backcountry chambering, this Evoke keeps the rifle compact with a 16.25-inch barrel and a 4-round detachable magazine. That setup makes sense for a hunting rifle meant to stay handy in brush, on steep ground, or in and out of a truck without giving up the threaded muzzle and brake-ready layout.
The barrel is 416R stainless steel with an FDE Cerakote finish, and Christensen lists it as button rifled, hand lapped, match chambered, and free floating. The action uses a precision-machined receiver, and the adjustable TriggerTech trigger runs from 2.5 to 5 pounds, factory set at about 3 pounds.
